In Case You Can’t Get Enough

August 7, 2005

Look for my debut post over at dotmoms today, titled “Last, But Not Least” It is a lighthearted take on what it means to be the last born in a large family.

I have to admit that I am a bit nervous that someone is going to tell me that my youngest will be scarred for life, but ah well it wouldn’t be anything I haven’t already heard.

I am excited and honored to be a part of such a talented bunch of women.

Now go on, get over there and read it.

Ooops. Thanks, I fixed the link now.
My post should be up sometime this afternoon :-)

I tried too, enjoyed reading some of your archives well past my bedtime last night. We’re unschoolers too.

Great post Chris! How true about the baby books… :)

  5. Sarah says:

Chris-great writing. I agree-everything has to be perfect with the first child. You learn to relax as you have more children-Just today I let my second child suck on a lollipop just to keep him quiet and occupied. Oh the horror!

  6. MamaGeph says:

If anyone makes a rude comment about your youngest, ask them to come a little closer(within arm’s reach) and you’ll show them all about ’scarred for life.’

    *sniff* beautiful.

This isn’t the first time I wished I was a part of your family or had a large family.

I didn’t find your article, but now I’ll go look for it. I did read the other entries on the first page, and damn, I’m going to sound like a complete and total suck up, but Chris, everything I’ve read on your blog is EONS funnier, better-written and wittier than anything I read today. I thought it would be a great site, a “writer’s” site, but I’ll stick with that albatros of a yellow house for good writing. :)
(and no, I will NOT lick your boots. try something else. :))

  9. Meg says:

You go, Chris! That was great (and well received, too).

A dad dropping in to say, man, I love that photo in the masthead. What a blessed looking bunch of kids. I’ll be checking out your writing too.

  11. Julie says:

Congratulations! That’s a great site. I’m headin’ on over.

  12. Sleeping Mommy says:

Ooo that’s wonderful. I am impressed. And now I have a reason to check that site out more often.

Because I can’t get enough of you.

    Congrats, Chris….really good stuff!
