Quote Of The Day
December 19, 2005
said by my 5 year old:
“I can’t wait for Christmas to get here. Then I won’t have to be so good until next December.”
Huh. I had no idea he was working so hard to be good. It must be an internal struggle, because it certainly isn’t apparent to anyone else.

He is one smart cookie!
Too funny!
December 19th, 2005 at 8:46 amI like the way my 7 year old pauses when “Santa” asks if she has been a good girl.
“Uh……yes, why YES I have!”
December 19th, 2005 at 9:48 amnow THAT is hilarious…
December 19th, 2005 at 10:19 amYour five-yesr-old is funny, but you’re hilarious. I laughed out loud on this one. Thanks.
December 19th, 2005 at 12:03 pmSounds like he’s figuring out how to work the system, ROFL.
December 19th, 2005 at 2:02 pmI’m sure he feels that no one will ever know the deep sacrifices he made in the name of Christmas goondess….
December 19th, 2005 at 2:50 pmWe took our kids to see Santa earlier today. The trepidation on my five year-old’s face was hilarious. Unfortunately for me, Santa deemed him “a good boy” and now my threats of “Santa’s watching you” have become null and void. “But Mommy, he’s already seen me and still thinks I’m good! He told me so.”
