Why, no I don’t think I am over reacting. Why do you ask?
Updated to add: If you want to be a “friend” on my flickr contact list you have to sign up for your own flickr account. It’s free, easy, and you don’t have to put up any photos if you don’t want to. When you add me as one of your contacts I will be notified and can then add you as a friend. I realize that there are still some public photos over there. The rest are marked private for now.

February 12th, 2006 at 1:06 pmPerfect. I thought you might have gone with the black bar over the eyes but then he’d just look like a Glamour don’t.
February 12th, 2006 at 1:09 pmha ha!!!
February 12th, 2006 at 1:36 pmCute! Of course, there is probably a whole subset of weirdos who enjoy looking at pictures of short, mysterious French men.

P.S. Just kidding!
I think he needs a hat. And a cigarette in one of those long holder things. Oh! And a newspaper! Maybe Le Monde?
Oh, and hey, what do I have to bribe you with to be a friend?
Tequila? More talavera?
I’m greenschool3 At The Place Which Shall Not Be Named But Has Something To Do With Pervs And Photos.
February 12th, 2006 at 2:18 pmYes, me too (what harvestmoon said) Name your bribe.
February 12th, 2006 at 3:37 pmI found you from joyunexpected. I’m sorry your having trouble. I don’t think your overreacting in the least.
And I love this pic, too funny.
February 12th, 2006 at 3:48 pmI still have the photos set to private, because it took so much work to change them all and I just don’t have the attention span to change them to friend only. Because we have snow. And OHMYGOD, this has never happened before and we are all going to perish!!!
February 12th, 2006 at 3:51 pmChris, I have come up with an idea that is at least some protection. There is a way to disable the right-click function of your web page, making it harder for someone to copy your page…. Here is the webpage to read about it and get the code http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/noright.htm
February 12th, 2006 at 4:13 pmI think I will try that on my page. The down side is that somone can’t ‘open in new window’ from your page…..

February 12th, 2006 at 5:06 pm:-)!!! Very nice. :-)!!!
February 12th, 2006 at 5:32 pmI don’t blame you. I was going to sign up for a Flickr account. Now I’ll have to do it, but lock it down like Fort Knox.
February 12th, 2006 at 6:10 pmWhen I read your blog yesterday I was deeply disturbed. I enjoy posting pics on my blog but would hate to think that anything was happening like you mentioned.
Owlhaven-thank-you so much!!!! I was searching for something like this yesterday. I just tried it on my blog and it worked! Thank-you, thank-you! I feel so much better.
February 12th, 2006 at 7:28 pmHee! Hopefully he won’t see it, and decide it seems like a good look for him.
I’m pretty sure you’re one of my contacts, so, yay! I do love seeing your photos.
February 12th, 2006 at 8:36 pmThis totally creeped me out!
February 12th, 2006 at 9:03 pmI’m another frequent lurker and “friend” but not a friend. I can still access your photos from the link in your side bar. I don’t have a flickr account. just so you know.
Wow, this freaked me out (not the pic) what the freak did. How did you know that he took your images. I looked at my account and I’m not sure how to tell. My daughter did tell me recently that her husband copied a pic of my little man from my site to show a friend and I let it slide thinking no one else would want a pic of my kiddos. oops! maybe I’m wrong.
February 12th, 2006 at 9:35 pmI added you to my contacts (my name on there is wbushcheated). I enjoy reading your blog and think your a great photographer!
February 13th, 2006 at 12:41 amYou’ll know you’ve gone too far and are in trouble if he starts reading Ginsberg and drinking black coffee.

February 13th, 2006 at 9:02 amI’m so sorry that you have to go to these lengths because there are wackos out in the world.
Also a person can see get around the “block right click” trick by using the print screen button on the keyboard (”prt scr”) and then pasting into paint shop or a similiar program and cropping back down to the picture.
So I guess the moral of the story is deciding what you feel comfortable sharing with the world and what they might do with it.
February 13th, 2006 at 9:18 amKatie,
February 13th, 2006 at 9:42 amYou are right. I can get around the “block right click” trick by using the capture screen function in paint shop pro. Anything you put out there on the internet can be misused.
This is just crazy! I have your blog and a few others for a couple of months and enjoy hearing and seeing your children. I have 2 daughters and it scares the heck out of me. We are originally from the Chicago area and moved to Florida a couple of years ago. Thinking that being away from the big city you are safer. Well last week a friend of mine sent me a link to a web site that will tell you where sicko of children under the age of 16 live and are registered with the state. http://www.familywatchdog.us and I was shocked how many live less then a mile from me. It is a terrible feeling that we cant trust anybody out there. You never know what intentions people have. It is too bad we have to live like this. I dont have a blog. I just read and laugh, cry with a few of you. Thanks again for all the good writing.
