A, B, C….something
April 7, 2006
Some people post videos of their kids to show how smart and precocious they are. Me, I’m just glad they are cute, because clearly MENSA is not going to be knocking down our door anytime soon.

Yeah you’re right. They are cute!
April 7th, 2006 at 8:53 pmThey’re so cute and obviously very smart also. They’ve added lots of new letters to the alphabet! Thanks for sharing that.
April 7th, 2006 at 9:44 pmWell, they dance well enough!
April 7th, 2006 at 9:44 pmThat was friggin’ hilarious!
April 7th, 2006 at 9:57 pmThat was so cute. I just had to tell you I love the photo strip in your header, great looking bunch you have there!
April 7th, 2006 at 11:39 pmThat is so dang cute!!! hey, my daughter has that same Tar-ja swimsuit!!
April 8th, 2006 at 12:07 amI’m STUNNED by the fact that these two kids act EXACTLY like my Gabe and Emma. Exactly.
Too, too funny!
April 8th, 2006 at 7:48 amSo funny! Who needs w,x,y,z anyway? Overrated letters, if you ask me.
April 8th, 2006 at 9:19 amAdorable! My daughter loved watching them and singing along!
April 8th, 2006 at 12:08 pmMy five year old daughter sang along as well! Quite impressive, my dear.
April 8th, 2006 at 1:20 pm“Now I know my ABC’s” is a little strong, I’d say.
It’s clearly winter outside your house, and summer inside. My kids want to move in with you.
April 8th, 2006 at 2:02 pmTotally adorable!!
April 8th, 2006 at 2:39 pmDid that clip have a laugh track?
April 8th, 2006 at 2:51 pmyea I thought I heard it too.
I love the way your daughter kept looking at her brother.
April 8th, 2006 at 3:13 pmAt that age it is so cute how they want to be just like the older kids.
LOL
April 8th, 2006 at 3:17 pmYeah, you would never know by the way that they are dressed that it was 30 degrees outside.
The television was on in the adjacent family room so that is the laugh track you hear.
April 8th, 2006 at 3:43 pmthat was so funny! i love your son at the end walking his fingers up his face. that was the icing on the cake.
they are so cute!
April 8th, 2006 at 4:18 pmLMAO you should send it in to Funniest Home Video’s, you’d win for sure.
April 8th, 2006 at 7:56 pmThe alphabet isn’t that big of a stepping stone anyway! They are cute and that is all that matters!
April 8th, 2006 at 10:32 pmmy husband thinks we should remove c and x. what do we need them for anyway?
April 9th, 2006 at 1:33 amI have issues with “x”. But without the “c” it would all look too German (no offense) so we should get rid of the “k” and make our language look sexier, continental style.
April 9th, 2006 at 8:15 amWow! You have such nice kids! If I had mine sing the alphabet on camera, the older one would get about halfway through singing before secretly pinching the younger one which would commence with loud crying and someone else entering the scene and punching the older one, which would turn into a giant brawl, with others coming over and dancing and making faces at the camera (and possibly some nakedness involved as well)! utter chaos! You have cool kids! Be very proud you can film them and they smile sweetly!
April 9th, 2006 at 5:13 pmI thought geniuses were supposed to be non-conformists. Maybe your kids are just making up their own alphabet. Too cute.
April 10th, 2006 at 1:36 amChris, you have no idea how much I needed that this morning.
April 10th, 2006 at 11:44 amThose kids are a riot!
April 10th, 2006 at 12:52 pmOkay I am totally dissappointed that my complete dinosaur of a computer will not allow me to see your video clip except for in jerky 10 second snippets. It is rather humorous that was though. Your kids are adorable!!! I love your blog!!! Sorry about the return of AF….just weaned my baby. Trying to hide-out from AF as long as possible.
April 10th, 2006 at 1:05 pmThey are so adorable, Chris!
April 10th, 2006 at 1:32 pmPut some clothes on the naked kids!!! ; ) Too cute!
April 10th, 2006 at 6:05 pmChris, this was GREAT, my girls came running to hear and LOVED it.
My 5 yr old can barely write her own name and can’t really name the letters. It all works out in the end!
PS…sorry if this is tacky but how did you get video on your post??? I can’t figure out how to do it!
April 11th, 2006 at 7:03 pmAdorable. Adorable. Adorable. That’s all I can muster right now. They are so stinking cute!!
April 11th, 2006 at 11:59 pmwow. Drinking at such a young age. They start younger and younger these days.
Seriously though - they have the wardrobe, volume and the speech patterns of my dad’s friends at our holiday parties…it’s cuter when their young of course.
April 12th, 2006 at 6:56 pmUGH. I meant when THEY’RE young.
April 12th, 2006 at 6:59 pmSorry. Ive been drinking too :}
My two girls (4 and 6) have always maintained it is, “H, R, J, K” so we’ll join your club.
Obviously, they don’t get enough Sesame Street brainwashing (I mean, “viewingtime”).
April 14th, 2006 at 9:06 amI loved it!! my daughter (Helena) is only 2 1/2 months old, and I wish she grows up to be as cute as your kids!
April 14th, 2006 at 10:34 amW, X, Y & Z…whew! I’m tired!
