What’s a girl to wear with pearls and a tattoo?
May 23rd, 2006 at 9:22 amVery Glamorous! I assume she’s wearing lacy underpants and your best high heels, too.
May 23rd, 2006 at 9:26 amWe have a Southwestern restuarant near us that gives out free tatoos to kids of the mascott “Pepe”. (Sounds like pepp-ay.) My husband taught my 3 year old son to ask everyone in our family, “Wanna see my Pepe?”. Nice, huh? He considers himself a genius.
May 23rd, 2006 at 9:29 amawesome. classy. my daughter begs for them. it’s our dentist that gives them out. i guess it’s the reason she doesn’t mind the dentist so much, and that can’t be a bad thing, right?
May 23rd, 2006 at 9:39 amI’m with Nettie on the lacy underwear and heels. That picture is too funny.
Like the new banner and subtitle, but miss the pictures!
May 23rd, 2006 at 10:10 amThat’s what my next tattoo is gonna be.
May 23rd, 2006 at 10:14 amMy three year old daughter would LOVE that!
May 23rd, 2006 at 10:15 amLove the picture of the Cinderella tatoo, but miss the one on the banner!
May 23rd, 2006 at 10:39 amHa I love it!
May 23rd, 2006 at 10:41 amWhere did they go? Where are those seven little faces that greet me every morning?
May 23rd, 2006 at 10:47 amWell, she IS a princess. Shouldn’t her arm be proclaiming that as well???
Too cute.
May 23rd, 2006 at 11:04 ammy 18 years old still weres them when she gets them. They just never outgrow some things. LOL
May 23rd, 2006 at 11:09 amMy daughter loves tattoos! And the girlier the better.
May 23rd, 2006 at 11:17 amI have a 3 year old daughter too. I love how well you write about the essence of what a 3yo girl is. Mine has a different name every day (today it’s “Marta”, yesterday is was “Queen Queen”), and the clothing choices of each day are usually bathing suits or leotards with spagetti straps (yup, that’s what she wore all winter). Ask her about pants or long sleeves, and she’ll bark back, “I HATE ‘em!!” I love love love watching the power of this little one being at the end of the line of 5 kids.
May 23rd, 2006 at 11:17 amit’s cute now, but I would be concerned if she was still dressing like that when she was 18.
:)
May 23rd, 2006 at 11:24 amHmmm…seems a bit butch to me.
May 23rd, 2006 at 12:12 pmDid any of you see that Dave Barry column about the Disney Princess phenomenon? Your post made me think about it. I’ll have to go dig it up.
May 23rd, 2006 at 12:20 pmI donno - my princess is stylin in a Boots tat that is the bomb diggity…. LOL!!!!
May 23rd, 2006 at 12:35 pmMy little girl and I have a love-hate relationship with these tatoos. She loves them, but since she is black they don’t show up well on her skin. I love them because she loves them, I hate them because I can never explain to her satisfaction why she can’t see Cinderella.
May 23rd, 2006 at 1:51 pmMy 6 yr-old daughter likes it very much. I asked her if she would like one for herself and she jumped up and said “Yeeesss!”
Then she thought a moment and asked, “Do they have one with a rose on it?”.
So I guess a rose tatoo is up there too.
Adorable picture. Beads and tatoo..nothing else needed.
May 23rd, 2006 at 2:21 pmI want one!!!!!!!!!!
May 23rd, 2006 at 2:34 pmdo I detect a little blue eye shadow to go along with that?
May 23rd, 2006 at 2:59 pmI have the same one on me bum!
May 23rd, 2006 at 3:17 pmI miss the Cinderella days! Now it’s Kim Possible and That’s So Raven……Like your new Subtitle! Miss your sweetie pies up there though! Especially the dimple faced ones!
May 23rd, 2006 at 3:38 pmAnd under the beads and tattoo she wears her birthday suit. I thought my older girls would never grow out of their love of being butt naked! They would strip out of their clothing in the morning, have to be redressed upon leaving the house and then strip again when getting home.
May 23rd, 2006 at 5:13 pmGotta run…the 4 year old just cut her own hair. I was wondering why it was so quiet…
Tattoos and pearls! I’ve got some of those myself…
May 23rd, 2006 at 6:42 pmShe’s a cutie pie.
Ohh I want one of them.
May 23rd, 2006 at 7:16 pmThat is some hardcore Ghangsta stuff right there!
You’ll see 50 cent wearing one any day now!
lol
May 23rd, 2006 at 7:22 pmI miss the adorable lineup across the banner too! But thanks for the tatoo and pearls . . . too precious!
May 23rd, 2006 at 7:50 pmI think she needs to dye her hair pink, m’kay? hehe
May 23rd, 2006 at 9:03 pmI love the juxtaposition between the elegant pearls and the tattoo! My almost 4-year-old would absolutely love that. We had some Fruit Stripe gum that came with tattoo labels and she couldn’t get enough of them.
May 23rd, 2006 at 9:59 pmShe’s rockin the tat attitude too.
May 24th, 2006 at 12:29 amWhat is it with those tatooes? My kids go crazy over them?
May 24th, 2006 at 12:55 amWait. Is she wearing blue eyeshadow?
I read that Dave Barry column. It was about the funniest thing I’ve read all week. I cried I laughed so hard.
May 24th, 2006 at 1:48 amMy daughters’ love tatoos and princesses.
May 24th, 2006 at 3:53 amWhat is it with tatoos and princesses??
May 24th, 2006 at 8:19 amDon’t ever tell my 3-year-old where you bought that because she will want one.
May 24th, 2006 at 8:37 amDon NOT let my daughter see that or she will stalk you forever and ever or until she gets her own.
Right now she is sporting a Pirates of the Carribean one on her forearm. So hip. So chic. So cool. (From a Lunchable, no less. Double bad mom!)
May 28th, 2006 at 12:23 amEve…
Stunning post. I only wish I could have written it myself….
