I have a solution
September 12, 2006
Everyone needs shoes like this. Seriously. If they came in grown-up sizes the world would be a much happier place.

Woah! Those are cute! Where do you find them?
September 12th, 2006 at 6:15 pmThose are cute. I also feel that way about the lady bug rain boots that my kids wear all year long in sunny california. Something about lady bug eyes, does me in.
September 12th, 2006 at 6:25 pmOoh,I so need some of those ladybug ones!
September 12th, 2006 at 6:37 pmBug shoes = World Peace.
You’re onto somethin’ here!
September 12th, 2006 at 6:54 pmOh my gosh - those are darling. My son has the frog version. We both love them. For all those interested, the brand is “Western Chief” and they have them at http://www.zappos.com. Happy Hopping!!
September 12th, 2006 at 7:06 pmHey, Melissa! Those lady bug rain boots come in adult sizes. I’ve seen them. The froggy ones too. I’m *so* going to buy a pair this year.
And the slip-ons? Too cute. I want shoes with teeth, too.
September 12th, 2006 at 7:12 pmThose are totally cute.
September 12th, 2006 at 7:17 pmAcrylic paint works fairly well on shoes — my sister has painted some cheap keds-style knock-off brand shoes into masterpieces. If you’re feeling crafty.
So, what you’re saying is, if I come over to your house and whine and demand and do things like pour milk into my own poop and decorate with it, you’ll buy me cool shoes?
Awesome.
September 12th, 2006 at 7:31 pmtoo cool!!!
September 12th, 2006 at 7:31 pmYes! That is the solution to world peace!! I can’t help but smile when I look at them. I’ll take two pair, but in the knee-high rubber boot version to protect against flooding here in south Louisiana!!
September 12th, 2006 at 8:16 pmI’m happier already! http://www.robeez.com has cute shoes like this too.
September 12th, 2006 at 8:36 pmclose enough?

September 13th, 2006 at 12:06 amI can imagine a household of 7 children with groovy shoes. HEAVEN.
September 13th, 2006 at 7:56 amI knew how cool you were when I saw the crocks a few weeks ago.
Those are too cute! We didn’t have such things when I was a child. Too bad!
September 13th, 2006 at 8:51 amSo cute! My son has some similar shoes — his are frogs/rain boots.
September 13th, 2006 at 9:18 amI would so love a pair of the Ladybird ones !
September 13th, 2006 at 12:20 pmArtemis Rich, thank you. I think you just made my day.
September 13th, 2006 at 2:40 pmWAY cute!
September 13th, 2006 at 7:29 pmSo cute! Pedoodles are very cute leather moccasins, too. My 18-month-old has a pair of pink kitty ones.
Suddenly my favorite black loafers look really boring.
September 14th, 2006 at 1:11 pmI really wish I could get my hands on some of those frog wellies. I would just love those. I guess I’ll have to live with my orange polka dot boots instead.
