Man, you people are unrelenting
November 16, 2006
Here is a photo I snapped this morning.
See, I have short brown hair now. It was about 6″ longer and blonde yesterday.

Is that you, Chris? You look totally different (and good!)
November 16th, 2006 at 12:00 pmUh, yeah it is me, though I look sort of unlike me in this photo.
November 16th, 2006 at 12:01 pm“You look really weird!”
- said in my best imitation of a 7 year old that you love.
(I think you look pretty).
November 16th, 2006 at 12:07 pmIt’s very pretty! The color is awesome.
November 16th, 2006 at 12:10 pmYou’re so hawt…wanna make out?
November 16th, 2006 at 12:20 pmYou look wonderful. What a nice new do.
November 16th, 2006 at 12:20 pmYou do look very different but very pretty !
What’s Rob say ?
November 16th, 2006 at 12:23 pmOk - so the hair color and length thing is different (and tres chic, btw) - going off the pic of your becoming a mother….
But…..how is it possible that your face has not changed at all in 12 years? Damn, girl, you got it going ON!!
November 16th, 2006 at 12:26 pmOh, and fwiw, maybe “really weird” from a 7 y/o son has something to do with the fact that he’s uncomfortable noticing that his mama is HOT - lol.
November 16th, 2006 at 12:27 pmyou look fab. Are you happy with it?
November 16th, 2006 at 12:28 pmI like it. It’s nice to have a change sometimes.
November 16th, 2006 at 12:30 pmYou look like you’ve barely aged since that picture of you holding a baby down the page.
November 16th, 2006 at 12:30 pmHi Chris
Nice photo! I think your blog is great, but was wondering - do you ever roll your eyes at the (what I consider) gushing comments you always seem to get? Dying of love for your shoes, begging for store locations where you buy things, persistent requests for photos of your new hairdo, etc etc…
To me, it seems you are a loving and well-organized mom. Just like many moms. I think some of your readers do not give themselves enough credit.
Anyway, I was just curious as to how you felt about it. Keep up the great blog!!
November 16th, 2006 at 12:48 pmIt’s beautiful!
You know, in the picture you posted the other day (before your oldest was born), I thought the darker color looked amazing with your skin tone!
This just proves it!
November 16th, 2006 at 12:49 pmYou look great, even if a bit unlike you
Nice hair!
Karen
November 16th, 2006 at 1:03 pmPretty-ful!
November 16th, 2006 at 1:06 pmOh so pretty!
November 16th, 2006 at 1:21 pmI likie!
November 16th, 2006 at 1:27 pmI have ONE child who is 10 months old. YOU have SEVEN children. I look like poop and you look AMAZING!! Perfect skin, no eye circles/bags, awesome hair. HOW do you do it?? You do not look old enough to have seven children…let alone one that is 12! Hair looks fantastic–
November 16th, 2006 at 1:29 pmVery nice -
I hate Day 2 after the hairdresser, when I actually have to wash my hair and try to recreate their work of art. I always succeed in absolute failure.
November 16th, 2006 at 1:32 pmI like it. And tell that 7 year old that he looks weird after he’s had his haircut.
Actually don’t. That’d be mean. Then he’d cry and it would be awful. But then he’d know not to eff with a woman after she’s had her hair done. Good to teach them young.
November 16th, 2006 at 1:39 pmI canĀ“t believe you (not your hair) look EXACTLY THE SAME as 12 years ago…so my question, probably more relevant for your other blog is HOW DO YOU DO IT? I am just like Kellie, one 10-m old, bags under the eyes, etc etc etc.
November 16th, 2006 at 1:56 pmYour hair looks pretty, not weird at all.
I think that the more kids you have the less you age.
People tell me that all the time, that the kids keep me young.
I also look very young to be pushing 40.
I love your hair!
Sometimes a change is good.
November 16th, 2006 at 1:59 pmI’m giggling at your description of your hair as “short.”
Hee hee.
November 16th, 2006 at 2:04 pmYou look gorgeous! Different (which could be what your 7yo was trying to say), but very chic and oh-so-pretty.
(Why don’t my haircuts ever turn out so well??)
November 16th, 2006 at 2:23 pmNice hair
What I want to know is - how the heck do you look so young with 7 kids? Not just how old they are, but surely you have SOME lines?!! My goodness - can I buy whatever you’re taking?!
November 16th, 2006 at 2:56 pmyou look totally hot! i love it!
November 16th, 2006 at 3:17 pmwow, you look 21!
November 16th, 2006 at 4:10 pmGorgeous. The fact that a male of any age even noticed a change is a big step. But that’s not short hair. I’ve been growing mine out and while it seems really long to me, it is still shorter than your hair.
November 16th, 2006 at 4:11 pmI dig it, though I am officially scared of your camera.
November 16th, 2006 at 5:07 pmweirdly beautiful!
November 16th, 2006 at 5:36 pmOkay, so I currently color and highlight my dirty blonde/light brown hair to get it blonde and I’m sooooo tired of the entire pain-in-the-butt process. I’m thinking about going darker, too. What’s your natural hair color, did you do highlights and/or color before (and can we see a “before” picture for comparison???) and what made you decide to go darker? Do you feel like “you” with the new, daker hair color? I’m so afraid I would miss the blonde and not feel like myself. Sorry, I’ve had hair color on the brain… Love your new look, btw!
November 16th, 2006 at 5:37 pmWhat are you, like 27? You look great!
November 16th, 2006 at 5:56 pmLove it.
November 16th, 2006 at 6:22 pmPreeeeeetty!
November 16th, 2006 at 7:03 pmlooks good.
November 16th, 2006 at 8:41 pmI love that color and it still seems “long” to me. Nice!
My son’s comment a few haircuts ago (he’s five): Awww, do you hate your new haircut too?
(And yes, I did.)
November 16th, 2006 at 8:57 pmLovely!
November 16th, 2006 at 9:19 pmNo one with that many kids should look so darn cute. Shouldn’t you be frazzled or something?
November 16th, 2006 at 10:01 pmholy hotness!!
DAM girl you look Amazing..(is your head huge yet or what??)
what can I say to reel you back down to earth? Um nothing, you never cease to amaze me.
November 16th, 2006 at 11:27 pmYou look fab!
November 17th, 2006 at 1:33 amHaha… no wonder your 7 yo son said you were “weird”. *kidding*
You are beautiful, Chris…
November 17th, 2006 at 2:17 amBut I prefer your 12-years-ago look ;).
CUTE! Your hair looks beautiful! And so do you.
November 17th, 2006 at 3:12 amAwww, and you gussied yerself up just for us (I see that lip-color!).
November 17th, 2006 at 8:32 amIt looks great, mama!
November 17th, 2006 at 9:48 amI like it! Your kids should be grateful. My mom has had the EXACT same hair style for twenty-five years.
November 17th, 2006 at 11:38 amLove it!
November 17th, 2006 at 11:43 amGawd… It’s just so not fair! You could shave your head and still look amazing your rotten woman you! ;o)
November 17th, 2006 at 12:45 pmLookin’ good! I love it!
November 17th, 2006 at 9:04 pmSHUT UP!!! You have 7 kids and you look like THAT? Somehow that just isn’t fair.
November 18th, 2006 at 12:02 pmDon’t know what you looked like before (maybe a tour through your Flickr account is overdue…) but I really like this look. Would not call it “short”- I think this is styled long hair. I think much longer and it gets to be looking a bit too much Earth Mother, I-just-wandered-off-the-commune, you know?
November 18th, 2006 at 1:58 pmAlso, the color is perfect on you!
I like the new do, very becoming.
November 18th, 2006 at 7:17 pmYou look great!!
November 20th, 2006 at 3:58 pmBeautiful and you don’t look like the matriarch of a large tribe to me. But honey, that really isn’t short hair. I haven’t had hair that long since kindergarten when my mother chopped it all off to make it easier for me to leave the house in the morning
November 21st, 2006 at 8:40 amBeautiful!
November 29th, 2006 at 7:00 pmGorgeous dahlinks!
