snow watch 2007: liverblogging

February 14, 2007

Time: 12:50

When I told Mir I was live blogging the STORM OF THE YEAR, I mistakenly typed liverblogging.

She suggested I use the title: When typos go wrong.*

snow day television

But maybe not so wrong.

A few more hours of this and I will be pulling out the fava beans and nice chianti. Do the Teletubbies have livers? SssssSssss (or however one would type that noise)

* I stand corrected, what she actually said, that was funny, was LIVERBLOGGING: Now with MORE ORGAN MEAT.

Wow Teletubbies…Just the picture of them made me shudder. I forget how lucky I am now that my boys are out of that stage. I live in CT and had a snow day…sleet day…rain day also. I live on the coast and the storm was changing over to all rain there. But I work for an online store that sells rugs which has offices in the center of the state. When my boss called me to say don’t bother coming in I had mixed emotions. I thought I would be subjected to either daytime talk shows or non-stop nick cartoons. But my boys suggested a Star Wars marathon. Warms a Dads heart. Luckily my wife is also a big Sci-Fi fan. I knew the days of Teletubbies was over in our house when my wife and kids gave the Tinki-Winki doll to our dog as a chew toy. No fava beans or chianti, just a little water from his dish after he meticulously removed its squeaky. It’s what he does with all his dog toys.

I am a member of the ‘we hate Teletubbies” organisation, please do not show Tinkywinky, Dipsy, LaLa or that other one again.
