February 16, 2007
Not sure what it is I like about this photo. Perhaps the sense of isolation.

That’s a great photo!!! Love the large spanse of textured white and a little bit o’color.
February 16th, 2007 at 11:42 amIt’s a beautiful photo, Chris. I love the framing.
February 16th, 2007 at 12:16 pmLOVE that pic!! I think it’s the freedom it expresses - doing whatever you want because you want to do it. You should submit it to Tracy over at picturethis.clubmom.com - heck, I might do it for you.
At least submit it to her ‘best shot Monday’…on Monday.
February 16th, 2007 at 12:40 pmIt looks more like a painting than a photo. Truly beautiful.
February 16th, 2007 at 1:20 pmFantastic shot. Thanks Laurie for sending me the link. I think it’s be a fantastic submission for My Best Shot Monday at Picture This! Be sure to come over and visit and share it if you’d like! : )

February 16th, 2007 at 2:50 pmI did finally get my computer back and I have the new hard drive in, but it still isn’t as zippy as I hoped.
Laurie and tracey, thank you. I’ll try to remember on Monday.
February 16th, 2007 at 2:55 pmI like the composition - he/she still has a long way to travel, and seems to be doing it backwards!
February 16th, 2007 at 3:13 pmit’s the white space. it’s a really fabulous picture!
February 16th, 2007 at 3:25 pmI wish I was in that picture. It’s the isolation, yes, but most of all it looks so tranquil, peaceful and carefree. Oh to be there again!
February 16th, 2007 at 3:38 pmAll these pics make me want to go play in the snow. It looks like you all had a blast.
February 16th, 2007 at 4:21 pmA great photo! I love it too!
February 17th, 2007 at 3:40 amI like that it looks like he’s practically flying.
February 17th, 2007 at 1:51 pmlove the pic - that’s how my kids looked going down our hills too. They’ve decided sledding isn’t as much fun if it’s on ice!
February 17th, 2007 at 2:16 pmGorgeous photo.
It seriously makes me want to grab my winter boots and go sledding…

February 17th, 2007 at 4:24 pmTo me it was more a sense of impending doom. I am sure they cropped the photo and what you are not seeing is that telephone pole right in the path of this little guy’s trajectory. He does appear to have a helmet on , so perhaps no harm was done.
