    And now I shall.

  2. Ashley says:

    What and adorable dress.

  3. Heather says:

    This is awesome. Thanks.

  4. julie says:

That’s the kind of dress that just sings of spring. Too bad the weather is being so uncooperative!

  5. Scout's Honor says:

Makes me want to get a dress on and swirl right now, and I would too, except I just went to lunch with hubby and da kids–a beer lunch– and I am already swirly enough. Thanks for the image. :)

  6. Danielle says:

I love twirly dresses. They are so much fun. Only I get dizzy too fast.

  7. Woman with Kids says:

Twirly dress days are the best… I still do that.

  8. Melanie says:

Oh, cute! I love that dress. I forget how much fun twirling in a dress is. I think I’ll put on a skirt this weekend and spin around for a while.

  9. amy says:

Nice quote and what cute pics!

  10. CaliforniaGrammy says:

Twirling used to be one of my favorite things to do. If I tried it now at my age, I think I’d fall flat on my face. But thanks for the smiles your picture brought to my face . . . fun memories!

  11. dcrmom says:

    Gorgeous!

  12. Daisy says:

Oh, this takes me back! My now-20-year-old would have worn this and swirled it when she was young. Thanks for the memory!

  13. Rebecca says:

I MUST know: Where did you buy that amazing dress? Or did you make it?

  14. Chris says:

The dress is from a store called H&M. It was very inexpensive too…like under $15 if I remember correctly.

  15. Denise says:

My 27 yr. old daughter called this morning while I was reading your post, which led to our remembering all her twirly dresses. You’re such a great mom to find the joy in that moment. Carpe diem!

  16. Overwhelmed With Joy! says:

How cute is that?! :) I really need to add a little girl to our family so I have an excuse to buy a twirly dress. :)

  17. Victoria says:

my granddaughter loves twirly dresses too :)

  18. CathyC says:

A twirly dress is one of the best reasons to be a girl. :)

  19. Cherie says:

Beautiful photo! Your daughter is adorable.

What kind of hardwood flooring is that? Gorgeous!

    Cherie

  20. Pia says:

I just bought that dress for Josie the other day. And she loves it! Just the twirly sort of dress that she’s been missing since we moved to Denmark. Twirly dresses are the best.

My little one got a button up the front dress with snaps. Bad idea. When you are 23 months apparently the most important thing to do when wearing snaps, is to undo them…

  21. dorothy says:

I just had to spend an amount that would make Mir’s head fall off for a dress that would actually twirl for the little angel. But watching her twirl is amazing.
