Oh, the bravery! My husband and I are too much the control freaks. Just watching this video made me want to grab my Rolaids. However, she is the cutest floor finisher I have ever seen, and I love how Miles is following her.
May 8th, 2007 at 7:50 amThat thing is going to drag her away!
Knowing (from your mentioning it several times) what a neat-freak your hubby is, I’m amazed he let her do that . . maybe because it was the porch floor, rather than indoors?
May 8th, 2007 at 7:54 amShe did a better job than I would have. That was too cute. Is she for hire? I have a yard full of mud that needs to be leveled.
I pay in Barbies and Princess dresses.
May 8th, 2007 at 8:19 ambitchin’! how cool is she? damn good at it, too.
May 8th, 2007 at 8:28 amIt is an outdoor porch floor and the sandpaper was a pretty fine grit. We didn’t have to worry about gouges or grooves being sanded into the floor.
May 8th, 2007 at 8:33 amBut can she do windows?
May 8th, 2007 at 8:39 amHow cute.. Im surprised she was about to control it. She looks so tiny compared to that thing. I bet she had alot of fun.
May 8th, 2007 at 8:39 amI like how she whipped the machine around.. Reminds me of how my 16 year old vacuums.
May 8th, 2007 at 8:51 amShe’s obviously done that before!
Will we see pics of that room when it is finished?
May 8th, 2007 at 8:58 amI’ve got a hallway and a laundry room floor that needs refinishing. How many toys does she charge? Does she fly in planes?
May 8th, 2007 at 9:04 amWow…can you send her over to my house? I think even better than her doing manual labor is that she looks so stylish doing it. Her shoes match her shirt exactly. That’s exactly the sort of role model our young girls need these days, you can be tough and stylish. You go chickie!
May 8th, 2007 at 9:29 amI am consumed with porch envy!
May 8th, 2007 at 9:40 amPlease send her here, I could use another set of hands! I’ve been waiting 5 years for my floors….
May 8th, 2007 at 12:47 pmWay to go! I’m impressed she was able to control that - those can be tricky! And it makes me miss having a huge porch like that in the house I grew up in. Sigh.
May 8th, 2007 at 1:06 pmI’m very impressed that your daughter can handle that machine! She did a great job.
Where was the cheering squad?
(I loved the cheering in the background when the little one was cracking eggs and the laughter in the background when you were dropping buns!)
May 8th, 2007 at 2:21 pmIt is always the little ones that want to “help” the big ones are always no where to be found!
She is adorable!
May 8th, 2007 at 2:21 pmI love that she is wearing the pink cowboy boots while sanding the floor. Too cute.
May 8th, 2007 at 4:33 pmHow cute is Miles? Brave little guy…my son would have run crying at the sound…of course, mine doesn’t have 6 siblings, so maybe his tolerance level is a little low…
May 8th, 2007 at 4:56 pmPrecious..stinkin cute
Im praying for heather as well
May 8th, 2007 at 5:15 pmThat was too cute. She seems to be a natural. =) Thanks for sharing.
May 8th, 2007 at 8:39 pmOn a side note, does your new slug line mean that none of your insurgents are routinely wearing diapers?!
May 8th, 2007 at 9:00 pmYowza!
May 8th, 2007 at 9:03 pmVery, very cute!
May 8th, 2007 at 9:48 pmmore impressive than cute! well, cute too, but very impressive!
May 8th, 2007 at 9:59 pmI have some wood floor someone stained way too dark…. to heck with child labor laws!!! And she did it in those cute pink boots no less!!
May 8th, 2007 at 11:23 pmLove the hair and the pink boots. Was she pushing the machine, or was the machine dragging her? LOL! Glad Miles kept skipping out of the way.
May 9th, 2007 at 7:52 amShe’s better with it than I’d be.
