September 24th, 2007 at 4:36 pmGreat picture, but I have to ask… Was that really his first pic or the first one he did that he is really, really showing off..:-)
Question, did you take the picture with your new camera? In a previous post you mentioned that you just purchased a Nikon D40x. In any case the camera really does a great job of capturing his facial detail…Nicely done…
September 24th, 2007 at 5:05 pmfirst painting !!!!!!! simply Perfect.
September 24th, 2007 at 5:15 pmA dreamer? Looking at the stars…

September 24th, 2007 at 5:21 pmNo, this is my old camera. And this is his first painting on a stretched canvas.

September 24th, 2007 at 5:56 pmHey, isn’t that the kid you supposedly never write about? The haters are going to be up in arms about this, Chris. Next you’ll be saying he’s flesh-colored!
(I amuse me. Also, nice work on the art there.)
September 24th, 2007 at 6:21 pmWow - I think that’s really awesome. Fabulous stuff. Maybe you’ve got a budding artist on your hands?
September 24th, 2007 at 6:41 pmHandsome boy and beautiful painting. I like the colors of North America, chilly Canada and the snowy north pole.
September 24th, 2007 at 6:53 pmLove it!
September 24th, 2007 at 6:58 pmNeat
September 24th, 2007 at 7:09 pmAnother handsome young man. And a talented one too!
September 24th, 2007 at 7:24 pmGreat painting. Are you going to frame it? Love all the blue.

September 24th, 2007 at 9:16 pmDoes he do paintings on commission?
September 24th, 2007 at 10:17 pmMir is incorrect. He looks more rosy colored with flesh undertones.
All is rosy in his world - his Mom, his art and he is handsome.

September 24th, 2007 at 11:14 pmWow…that’s something to be framed and displayed for all to enjoy for years to come!

September 25th, 2007 at 7:29 amGreat painting! He’s a very talented artist.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:22 amOoooh, it’s so Van Gogh-ish! You know like ‘Starry Night?’ You better make sure you keep all sharp instruments away from him in case he decides to trim off an ear or two.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:45 amI like the way he showed only part of the earth but all of the moon, and all the different blues in the sky.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:48 amGorgeous colors, love the painting, it definitely deserves to be framed. What a wonderful Mom you are to share his masterpiece, so sweet.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:51 amI forgot to mention how cute as well as talented your boy is. He reminds me a lot of my very artisitic 11 year old daughter who also has dark eyes and hair.
