I love the combination of the snoopy band aid eye patch, the cold look of stern concentration on her face, and the controller raised in apparent victory over the fallen brother/victim in the background. Cool photo.
October 10th, 2007 at 12:50 amMy boy LOVES the Brave Little Toaster series.
October 10th, 2007 at 1:54 amHope she’s ok.
Awwww, hope it wasn’t too serious and won’t keep her from playing her wii games.

October 10th, 2007 at 2:32 amCould some kind person out there explain to me what wii is ??
I have no idea.
I don’t have kids, maybe that’s the problem.
Love Carolynn xx
October 10th, 2007 at 3:11 amIt’s a gaming console, the Nintendo Wii, and it has wireless controllers with accelerometers in them which allow gamers to control the action on-screen through movement rather than button pushing.
That’s some intense concentration going on there, gaming is a serious business!
October 10th, 2007 at 6:43 amOMG that makes our injuries, there have been many, seem like nothing. That poor kid. So glad to see she’s still working it though.
October 10th, 2007 at 7:32 amPerseverance!!! What a great life lesson.. OH, how my boys want a Wii!!
October 10th, 2007 at 7:49 amWe have the same bandaids…or did before my people went through the box of 200 in record time. Oddly enough there weren’t that many injuries.
October 10th, 2007 at 7:54 amMaybe you should sue the company - I see college money in your future….
October 10th, 2007 at 8:00 amA bunch of boys (age
were playing wii boxing at our house the other night and I really thought we’d have an injury. Lots of punch-punch-punching and standing too close to one another. Thankfully, all escaped injury. But I could totally see it happening what with all the poking and the swinging of the wii remote.
Love the photo of your little one as she soldiers on bravely post injury. The wii-ing must go on!
October 10th, 2007 at 9:19 amDOH! I still think we’ll be getting it for Christmas … but I’ll save enough to include face masks!
October 10th, 2007 at 9:20 amClassic picture, but darn, what did she do to her eye?
October 10th, 2007 at 9:57 amWe have the brave little toaster on VHS.
October 10th, 2007 at 10:04 amI dont know how to work the VCR…. Maybe goodwill?
Thanks for the reminder.
Living in a house full of boys, I would have expected something more severe! Can I assume a WII controller flew threw the air and hit her in the eye? Poor baby. I hope her eye heals quickly!
October 10th, 2007 at 10:04 amI should really up the caffeine before I try to type … LOL @ myself
threw s/b through

October 10th, 2007 at 10:20 amso funny… After having our Wii since the day they came out, we just recieved our first injury too. My daughter smacked up the controller while playing “Carnival Games” and busted it on her head.
October 10th, 2007 at 10:27 amOh Wii are very familiar with that top of injury.
Very.
Your picture depicts the beauty of a Wii - no matter the beating, you keep on playing.
October 10th, 2007 at 10:34 amAw, poor thing!
October 10th, 2007 at 10:59 amOh no! What happened? It was the Wii, wasn’t it?

October 10th, 2007 at 5:03 pmI can only imagine the injuries we will have when I finally, finally win a Wii. My boys are wild, and my oldest dd is a vicious competitor!
October 10th, 2007 at 5:26 pmSeriously though, wasn’t that the weirdest movie ever? My three year old is obsessed with it and those people were obviously doing hard core drugs. And since they aren’t sharing I have no idea what is happening in the movie…
October 10th, 2007 at 5:37 pmROFLMAO!!!
October 10th, 2007 at 6:41 pmThe picture was funny but the caption was even funnier.

October 10th, 2007 at 7:57 pmI hope the doctoring didn’t take too much of her wii time - or were you able to do it as she played???
Wii! Ha! Funny!
October 10th, 2007 at 8:33 pmOMG Brave Little Toaster. Best movie ever.
So, are we having NoBloShoeMo this year? Because I just got some new pairs to show off.

October 11th, 2007 at 12:22 amOh by the way I love her shirt. My little girl is running around in the same one.
Jaime
That is funniest photo ever! I love the patch AND the pose your daughter is in. Such concentration!
October 11th, 2007 at 10:23 amhm…this image makes me even more terrified of wii than i was before…does she still have an eyeball under there?
October 11th, 2007 at 11:39 amIt looks like her brother there on the floor behind her might be the defeated one. She has chutzpah!
And isn’t it hard to wii using one eye?
October 11th, 2007 at 3:51 pmShe looks adorable! And hilarious! At first I thought she had a broken finger too.
October 12th, 2007 at 9:31 amHey Chris…I just saw that Nintendo is offering free “wii-mote jackets” made of silicone to protect the wii-motes and little heads.
Go Here to get them to ship you a set! http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/jacket/jacketrequest.jsp
