hehe cute!!! that’s because you always eat corn-on-the-cob! makes perfect sense :)

  6. Lilly says:

Cute! Corn mazes are very cool. The sun through the leaves and the rustling sound. Of course when you’re trying to keep up with kids it’s hard to appreciate the visual/audials…. (Is audials a word?)

  7. ann-marie says:

if this were what the movie had been like, i would have been more prone to want to see it. what a joyful pic!

  8. Kellan says:

What a great shot (with such a nice camera)! Could he be any cuter? I didn’t think so.

  10. carrie says:

Beautiful picture! And that field looks so much better than the muddy ones around these parts! Just don’t get lost!

Chris, have you seen this blog? http://3191.visualblogging.com/
    Great photos, just like yours.

  12. Natalie says:

Beautiful picture! I wish we had a decent corn maze anywhere within a 2-hour drive, lol!

  13. Nicki says:

We did one of these about a month ago. We were almost to the end and solving it, but due to the heat and small children we had to be shown out. Next time we will wait until it’s not 80 something outside to do it. It was fun though!!

I thought it might be fun to take my kids to a corn maze about an hour away from here… until I heard a story on the news about an injury involving a guy wielding a chainsaw who jumps out to scare people. Hmmmmmm. Hopefully yours was a chainsaw-free experience!

  15. genpoco says:

We live across from a corn maze. Screams and shrieks are endless this time of year. : )

  16. Crystal D says:

I love that he made it a race.

  17. kalisah says:

Awesomeness. I’m totally calling it that from now on.

  18. Wendy says:

    Malachai!! MALACHAI!

Run they are no friend of the parents.

  19. maria says:

Yesterday was my heart baby’s birthday - he’s 6 and before his second birthday he had his third open heart surgery. I never allowed myself to think about 6. I spent his 6th birthday w/79 other screaming kindergarteners at a pumpkin patch (you were wondering where I was going w/this weren’t you - interesting - but how is it relevant;) pumpkin patch, corn maze - there’s a connection;) I probably didn’t get any pictures this gorgeous (and your son is beautiful) but it was a perfect way to spend a day celebrating.

  20. Dana says:

I just found out there is one of these (corn mazes) and a pumpkin patch near where I live. . My son and I can’t wait to go!!! I’m going to take lots of pictures.

  21. Lulu says:

Beautiful pic. Miles still looks like a little toot!

  22. angela wd says:

So cute! Oh, I miss those days.

  23. Katiebod (Roses are Red, Violets are Violet) says:

Freaks me out thinking about that movie…”Malachi…………” yikes. :-)

  24. Shannon says:

Aww, he still looks so little bitty when you put him amongst the tall corn.

  25. Donna says:

If this is the one I think it is, with the farm across the street, I was just there with my two preschoolers. Tell me, did you too, end up lugging a tired, grousing, thirty five pound child around on your back after a couple of hours as well,or am I just a complete sucker?

    Oh. Nevermind, then.

Donna (who is baffled by the fact that EVERY time she brings the kids to the maze, they hate it by the end of the day, and yet continue to begbegbegohmommypleasebegbegbeg to go back. What’s that about?)

  26. Sammi says:

    Malachai is sooooo hot!
