Daddy’s girl

Daddy’s girl

October 22, 2007

piggy back

We were watching my oldest son’s final baseball game of the fall season, after a long day of watching my other son’s baseball game. All that watching can make a little girl tired and need to be carried around and need to have her every whim and desire is catered to.

Luckily that is what daddy does.

  4. Fina says:

I never really had that daddy thing around when I was growing up so I dont think I really understand the daughter/father connection. However my 2 year already has it nailed down.Turns my husband to jelly every day. It’s beautiful to see, but I admit I dont get it.
    Lucky fathers.
    Lucky daughters!

  5. Jenni-nifr says:

Okay…so now I’m crying! My dad passed away in February and I was such a Daddy’s girl. Not a spoiled princess, he was just my favorite! I love this picture. Blessings!

  11. Fold My Laundry Please says:

My daddy once got dressed (he already had put on his jammies for the night) and drove to the store to get me soda and twinkies because I asked for them! And my husband will see a rack of dresses in the store, walk over with my two year old, and the two of them will peruse the styles and colors together!

    Dads are awesome!

    Stunning picture.

The whole Daddy’s girl thing is so priceless. I am so glad we are getting to experience it.

  13. Cate says:

If that doesn’t capture the idea of security in a picture, I don’t know what does.

She just looks so safe and content.

  14. Lisa says:

I love love LOVE this. I take pictures of fathers and daughters whenever I can, too. Obviously, I’m a daddy’s girl, too.

  15. Susan says:

Do you think it’s too much to ask my husband to carry around ME like that?

  16. Jennie says:

I’ve always wanted a boy, and it’s hard to describe exactly why. But this picture makes having a baby girl seem just a-okay.

  17. child development judy says:

Theres something about being a daddy’s girl.
And daddy always wouldn’t mind carrying his little precious one .
