November 5th, 2007 at 11:55 pmDo you use the preset settings on your camera, or have you started venturing out into doing your own settings? I just got a D40x a few weeks ago, and I am still concentrating on things like how beautiful I find it and how nice it feels in my hands (and also obsessively reading up on other lenses so I can go out and blow some money on one), and I have not gotten experimental yet. I think I am going to have to get a book about it because the user’s manual is not helping me much at all.
