They do don’t they. A 6′2″ child that rarely lets me give him a kiss used to be glued to my side and say “Kiss me on the wips.”
November 10th, 2007 at 9:21 amOMG - were you like 12? You’re adorable! Oh, and the baby is cute too … !
November 10th, 2007 at 9:41 amHello,
November 10th, 2007 at 10:25 amSo, not to state the obvious but…. You have a teenager in the house! Wow!! Here in California its 6:20 and I have been up for a while read ling your archives and laughing so hard my whole bed and husband are shaking. Thank you!
That is my favorite pic of you. you just look so glowing and happy.
Happy 13th kiddo!
Welcome to the world of the teen.
November 10th, 2007 at 10:31 amCongratulations… but I think someone stole the photo… I think I saw it somewhere else!
You should put the “notes from the trenches” on it before someone else posts it again!
Here, here I found it!

Ha! I knew it!
November 10th, 2007 at 10:31 amAwww…. sweet little baby feet. Where did they go?
November 10th, 2007 at 10:42 amMy youngest child is 46 and I still see my baby in his eyes, and in the eyes of his brother and sister.
When I think of how many teenagers you will have at one time I say a little prayer for you because Boy! are you going to need it.
But we love them still.
I always think these milestone birthdays are really much more milestones for the moms. Congratulations on letting him live to see his teens! –Barb
November 10th, 2007 at 10:44 amYes, I have posted the photo before.
I no longer have a working scanner so I can’t get any new photos up on my hard drive. I suppose I could get out my external hard drive and hook it up, but the effort from doing that might just kill me.

November 10th, 2007 at 2:48 pmMy oldest turns 9 years old tomorrow. 9. I can barely believe it. I am already starting to cry. I mean, seriously. That means in 9 more years, I can legally kick her butt out of the house! Who wouldnt cry tears of joy about that? Not really. I just sit here and think, 9 years ago today, I wasnt a mother yet. I had a big belly, but I wasnt a momma yet. How much things have changed.
November 10th, 2007 at 3:14 pmWow, you were just a baby! What a sweet picture.
And happy birthday, oldest boy.
Blessings of patience on your head, Chris.

November 10th, 2007 at 3:50 pmYou look about 13 yourself in this photo.
Aack! I’m about 7 months from mine being a teenager too! Don’t you agree that every time you look at them, they’ve changed? Did they look that grown-up last week?
November 10th, 2007 at 4:03 pmIs that a scrunchie on your wrist??
Such a beautiful picture of you both.
November 10th, 2007 at 4:17 pmYou should print a few copies and leave them
in his drawers, toys, pants pockets etc. The agony he’ll have
will give you such pleasure.
Happy birthday!
And you do look just adorable.

November 11th, 2007 at 12:26 amI know you’ve had people ask how you’ve convinced your husband to have more, but I’d really like to to know. I just want one, maybe two, more… You don’t have to give it all away, just a Little bit!
Suzanne
I’m only two and a half years behind you…
And have mercy, Chris, did you give birth to him when you were 12?
November 11th, 2007 at 12:45 amI think it’s really funny that both this year and last year, people commented, “what, are you like 12?” LOL You do look very young!!
