December 27th, 2007 at 4:58 pmGreat Gift! The features on those things are wonderful to have… especially when you’re bouncing from T-ball to ballet to football. I don’t know how I ever lived without my calendar, email, phone, internet, etc. all in one place.
Be careful, though. They’re addicting… VERY addicting. I’ve had a Blackberry and am now on my 2nd Treo.

December 27th, 2007 at 5:42 pmI also have a Curve (got it with my new job, Chris, which I should tell you about sometime soon) and, I gotta say, the camera on that thing is pretty good as far as camera phones go. I own the same camera that you have as well (Nikon D40x), and I won’t pretend that it’s anywhere as good as that, but it’s helpful for those moments when the Nikon isn’t within arms reach.

I sometimes read some of the stuff to him too. (I always feel like it will make him laugh after a hard day at work but really I just think it funny and want to read it to him) Just keep up your great stories. I love them.

Some sites work better than others on the Blackberry…whitepages.com, googlemaps, imdb.com are all great and prevent me from ever getting lost, not finding a number, or spending all evening trying to remember who played the romantic lead in Sixteen Candles. However, my husband has placed a 2 times during dinner out limit on Blackberry use (unless it’s a work emergency) and he would kill me if I pulled it out during a movie. Have fun and try to remember to focus more on the real live world than the digital one.

Do you really want to be that connected up? They scare me, but then I get a 80 -100 emails a day on a work day plus more spam than I can cope with. It will be interesting to hear if you love it or loath it in a few months time! If you love it maybe I will get one!
