Quote of the Day

Quote of the Day

December 28, 2007

Miles fighting with one of his siblings over their iPod headphones. There is much screeching, pushing and pulling involved.

“No, Miles, you are not old enough for an iPod!”

“Yes, I am.”

“No, you are not old enough!”

“Yes I am! I have ears, you know!”

My 4 year old is obsessed with my husband’s ipod ear buds. He says they make him look like a teenager, which is a cool thing to look like I guess. We don’t actually let him listen to the ipod so he walks around with them dangling, attached to nothing.
When he can’t get his hands on the actual ear buds he uses the stethoscope from the toy doctor kit….

    BWAHAHA!

Reminds me of a similar response from Hansel when he was around 3. He was in a time-out, and he kept t-a-l-k-i-n-g to me. I told him: “There’s no talking in a time out.”

    His response:

“I have a mouth, so I *can* talk if I want to.”

  14. All Adither says:

As long as they’re old enough to hold up their head.

  15. janet says:

hey, he knows what he’s talking about!

  16. Gwen says:

This is why we got my 2.5 year old a fisher-price player. A little bit of work changing the songs over, but well worth it to have Aidan’s ipod.
