A flurry of motion…and Miles in the middle. Too cute.
January 18th, 2008 at 9:13 pmWe convinced my 10 yr old to get a wii for his birthday and then of course we were searching all over Wi for it.Luckily we found it on Craig’s list for a great price.I like that they actually move around!!!
January 18th, 2008 at 9:18 pmWhat are your (or the kids) favorite games? We just got Playground a while back and we are enjoying that as a family. I also like bowling, and a bike race one we rented. Oh, and Mario & Sonic Olympics was fun.
Do you and your husband ever play without the kids? My husband and I bowled the other day while the kids were at school. I kicked his butt of course. Haha
January 18th, 2008 at 9:21 pmChris,
What is the lovely shade of paint in your living room there? It looks exactly like the color I have been wanting in our new living room. Do you remember the name off hand?
Thanks!
Chris says: It is Barley by Benjamin Moore.
January 18th, 2008 at 9:30 pmAwesome shooting, Chris!
January 18th, 2008 at 9:42 pmLittle man triumphant! What are they playing?
January 18th, 2008 at 9:50 pmWe just got a wii last week. I’ve been planning a post similar to this one myself. Don’t you love that frickin’ thing? Except for when the kids are fighting over it that is. I could do without that part.
January 18th, 2008 at 9:51 pmYour daughter’s smock? Awesome.
Chris says: Isn’t it? It was mine was a little girl. I’ll have to post another photo of the smock because I love it!
January 18th, 2008 at 9:53 pmThat’s a good one!
I have about a hundred photos of the kids playing the Wii, and none are even close to being that good!
January 18th, 2008 at 10:02 pmOkay, and look at how shiny your floors are . . . what’s the secret?
January 18th, 2008 at 10:03 pmhahaha! this is great.
January 18th, 2008 at 10:10 pmWii neither. What is your favorite game. We have a few, but bowling is still my favorite.
January 18th, 2008 at 10:34 pmSort of looks like my house with the Wii! I can not stress enough how important it is to stay more than an arms distance from your husband while playing this game. I had a bruise the size of a tennis ball on my arm for a week. (We were playing tennis coincidentally.)
January 18th, 2008 at 10:36 pmOh my gosh I love Miles doing the ‘joy of victory’!!
January 19th, 2008 at 1:46 amMy kids love the Wii! Weekly bowling is now PE for the home schooled kid….
January 19th, 2008 at 9:38 amNeither do Wii!!!!!
January 19th, 2008 at 9:49 amDesperately Seeking Wii.
January 19th, 2008 at 10:54 amYadda yadda yadda wii yadda yadda. I’m with Carrie - HOW do you get your floors so shiny? We have wood, I spent three -3 - hours cleaning them the other day, but not shiny.
January 19th, 2008 at 12:37 pmTell us how you got that shot, it’s awesome!
January 19th, 2008 at 4:12 pmWe do not have a Wii….yet, I am seriously thinking that we will be getting one eventually though. They look like a lot of fun. I know our XBox 360 provides loads of entertainment and learning.
January 19th, 2008 at 5:02 pmJust popped by to let you know I have added you to the Homeschoolers Cafe blogroll at my website.
The Thrill of Victory!

January 19th, 2008 at 5:26 pmmy poor kids are video-game deprived. I don’t think any of us have ever even seen a wii.
the part where Nintendo is setting them up in senior centers makes me feel all the more lame!
we never sit still either, but your blurry pics are so cool
January 19th, 2008 at 5:56 pmI played Mario on the Wii at a gamestop the other day ~ I almost wet myself, it was too exciting for this 40-something mama. I fell off the edge of the world a few times…
Love this motion picture!
January 19th, 2008 at 6:12 pmyou know I hurt my shoulder playing that darn wii!!!!! then again I am old!
January 19th, 2008 at 7:55 pmThose game things look like great fun. Unfortunately I have Cerebral Palsy & am wheelchair dependant so I probably wouldn’t be able to play with a wii.
January 19th, 2008 at 11:58 pmWe just discovered the seduction of the Wii. Sadly, we didn’t have quite the freestyle Martha Graham moves of your clan.
January 20th, 2008 at 2:12 amSanta brought us a wii….we haven’t stoped playing (my husband is playing with my 4 year old right now…star wars) since. Great indoor fun for a 1 degree winter day.
January 20th, 2008 at 2:20 pmWe want a wii too very badly. I am trying to think of a good reason to buy one. You got a “C” on your report card…GREAT you deserve a WII!!!!
January 20th, 2008 at 2:26 pmI’m with Carrie & Missy, but I want to know what color stain that is. Your floors are gorgeous!
January 21st, 2008 at 1:05 pmI think I need to look into this Wii thing a bit more, everyone is having so much fun with it! I’m jealous!
