Phew! Thanks,Mi–whoops! *Batman!*
March 26th, 2008 at 11:11 pmYour photo brings back lovely memories of when both of my kids would wear the exact same pj’s.
March 26th, 2008 at 11:17 pmI feel better already!!!
March 26th, 2008 at 11:36 pmI feel much better now.
March 26th, 2008 at 11:48 pmLOVE IT! So cute…and taking his role as superhero so seriously.
I will sleep soundly tonight.
March 26th, 2008 at 11:49 pmI have a super(wo)man over here, so we’re doubly safe, I guess. Good to know he’s got the bat emergencies covered.
March 26th, 2008 at 11:52 pmLove the backwards pants, they help to defeat criminals since they can’t tell if you are coming or going
March 27th, 2008 at 12:05 amIf only it could be so.
March 27th, 2008 at 12:07 amMy Headless Boy2 was wearing these tonight when he went to bed. I think Miles’ are smaller.
March 27th, 2008 at 12:09 amWhew!
March 27th, 2008 at 12:16 amThe cape flying in the breeze makes it truly perfect.
March 27th, 2008 at 12:16 amI won’t need any Ambien tonight. I feel so calm. really. seriously.
March 27th, 2008 at 12:42 amOOOOHHHH! Adorable.
That cape is cracking me up.
March 27th, 2008 at 2:49 amWhat is it about capes and little boys?
March 27th, 2008 at 4:26 amWonderful
my first daughter had a Spiderman outfit complete with padded muscles. It looked freaky - bit like having a dwarven Arnold Schwarzenegger running riot in the house.
March 27th, 2008 at 4:28 amHa–we have those same ones. Love how you caught the cape flying proud!
March 27th, 2008 at 4:35 amThanks, Batman!
March 27th, 2008 at 6:09 amPeep had the exact same pj’s when he was little. So cute.
I LOVE IT. I shall sleep well tonight.
March 27th, 2008 at 6:40 amI know when I go to sleep tonight if there’s any chance of a bad dream or while I’m at work today if I need anything, I can call on Batman and know that I will be safe!
March 27th, 2008 at 7:33 amBeautiful shot!
March 27th, 2008 at 8:16 am*Phew* I know I will sleep better tonight
March 27th, 2008 at 8:31 amCute! And where’s the snow? Is it finally warm there?
March 27th, 2008 at 8:34 amAwesome

March 27th, 2008 at 8:48 amMy daughter told me one day she plans to marry Batman someday. I feel better knowing she’ll have a nice security system when she’s on her own
Did he get a call on the Batphone? What does he know that he isn’t telling us? I guess I will let him handle it, I am sure he is better equipped than I would ever be.
March 27th, 2008 at 9:36 amOhhh! I miss those days of super hero PJs.
March 27th, 2008 at 9:54 amI have a Superman (complete with cape as well) over here. Together we practically have the Justice League!
March 27th, 2008 at 9:57 amThank you Miles! I, for one, feel so much better knowing that you’re on the job!
March 27th, 2008 at 10:30 amThat picture totally made my day. Hooray for Batman keeping the world safe!
March 27th, 2008 at 12:33 pmWhat a great picture. I love how his arms are crossed and the wind is blowing the cape.
March 27th, 2008 at 2:13 pmduh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duhduh-duh duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh, BATMAN!
March 27th, 2008 at 2:24 pmI feel very safe knowing BatMiles and my two Power Rangers are protecting us all.
March 27th, 2008 at 2:41 pmIs he armed also. I had a rubberband shooter/slingshot that looked a lot like what he is holding. Amazingly I do feel safer. Afterall I’m not in his line of sight.
March 27th, 2008 at 4:39 pmChris says: Yes, he is armed with a slingshot.
Thank goodness we have someone to keep us all safe!
March 27th, 2008 at 7:23 pmToo cute!
March 27th, 2008 at 10:00 pmAwww, my son had those same pj’s! And he wore them until he could hardly get them off, they were so small! I finally had to hide them from him because I was tired of having to rescue him from getting his head stuck as he was trying to take them off.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:47 amSo cute! I love little boys and their superhero obsession!
Hi-
March 28th, 2008 at 12:24 pmI’ve been reading your blog for a few weeks now–sorry to just now delurk and have to say I really enjoy it. I love the stories of your kids, your home renovation (going through that one myself), and just your life in general and how refreshingly truthful they are. Thanks for sharing them with me.
I’ve been trying to read back entries and today on my lunch break I was reading your note to your 16 month old son (http://www.notesfromthetrenches.com/2006/04/page/2/) and you talked about him wanting to wear a cape…and here we are two years later and that’s exactly what he’s doing.
Again, thanks for the blog and have a great weekend.
Natalie
That is just waaaay too cute!!! I will defiantly “Rest Easy”! And he’s armed with a slingshot??? Oooh, WATCH OUT NOW!!!
March 28th, 2008 at 1:09 pmI’d feel safer if his pants weren’t on backwards.
March 28th, 2008 at 2:39 pmThank goodness you didn’t take a picture of that cute face and dimples, we’d want to eat our superhero. I think there’s special powers when you wear the pants backwards. And isn’t that a scene in an old comic book - Batman looking for Easter eggs with a fairy princess?
And happy birthday to your nine year old. Please pass along my wishes - and thanks for the monkey bread recipe. Never had it - can’t wait to try it.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:19 pmSO cute!
March 28th, 2008 at 10:37 pmI love it. I wish my boys were still that little.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:38 amI feel so safe now!! What sort of weapon is batman holding there? A bubble wand maybe? In any case, he’s adorable!
