ruh roh!
April 14th, 2008 at 10:18 pmMiles refused to wear her shoes, didn’t he.
April 14th, 2008 at 11:11 pmBack off slowly showing you accept her dominance by lowering your chin and not making direct eye contact.
Chris says: Yes, noted.
April 14th, 2008 at 11:28 pmI. Love. This.
Chris says: Thank you, Angella
April 14th, 2008 at 11:41 pmcutest haircut! that’s the look i give my brothers, and now my fiance!
April 14th, 2008 at 11:48 pmbe afraid, be VERY afraid!
April 15th, 2008 at 12:05 amEither the little bro stopped cooperating or you told her it was time for bed, right?
April 15th, 2008 at 12:20 amOh dear. Don’t make eye contact, and try to stay calm.
April 15th, 2008 at 12:32 amFuture boyfriends beware! She has BROTHERS and will not take your crap.
April 15th, 2008 at 12:55 amSuch a senior yearbook picture, for sure.
April 15th, 2008 at 1:04 amOh my gosh - you are so in trouble with this one!
April 15th, 2008 at 1:43 amLove this! But she is a little scary.
Chris says: She really isn’t. She said to take the photo of her making this face.
April 15th, 2008 at 2:36 amWhat a capture!
April 15th, 2008 at 2:52 amCor, great shot but the photo-treatment is a little scary! Not sure i like the darkened skin effect. And you know, her expression adds to the fear factor, lol.
Chris says: I sort of like the scary photo treatment.
Not for EVERY photo, of course.
April 15th, 2008 at 4:50 amMOOOOooom! Enough with the camera already!
(just guessing) And I see by her little turning-purple arms that in usual-kid fashion, she is ignoring the fact that the house is nearly down to freezing, all for the sake of being a ballerina/princess.
April 15th, 2008 at 5:53 amAnd just think, that’s *without* any of those pesky hormones that will be coursing through her system in about ten years.
April 15th, 2008 at 6:47 amOoooh! Look at that face.
April 15th, 2008 at 6:49 amThat is quite the look. I’m thinking the teenage years are just popping in to say hello.
April 15th, 2008 at 6:49 amthat is a great picture! I should take some of my daughter like that. She is 3, and already getting an attitude. She crosses her arms and pouts like that…I know she’s mad when she does it, but she’s just so darn cute. Its hard not to laugh!
April 15th, 2008 at 7:02 amHaving five brothers and no sisters, I completely relate to the look she is casting. Hold your own, little one.
April 15th, 2008 at 7:11 amI love a girl with her own sense of style. Now give her a guitar!
Chris says: She has one. Of course I think it only has two strings left on it.
April 15th, 2008 at 7:38 amOh my!
April 15th, 2008 at 7:58 amThis is one shot she will not want you to show to future boyfriends. Give it to her when she’s old enough to use it for her own best!
another one for the wedding slide show
April 15th, 2008 at 8:18 amLove that picture…and her purple bed!
April 15th, 2008 at 8:25 amThis is a great picture. Just wait, I’m sure the looks will become even better….
April 15th, 2008 at 9:40 amWoah . . . . that’s definitely a dominance look. I second Heather’s Garden and add that I hope she doesn’t throw her own feces at you. Though, then again, with as many kids as you have I’m sure you’ve had feces thrown at you at least once.
April 15th, 2008 at 10:30 amShe is gorgeous!! Looks so grown-up!!
By the way, is her quilt from the Simply Shabby Chic collection? I have the exact same one, I love how girly it is! I bet she has the prettiest room, and I’m sure you love decorating it.
Chris says: Yes it is. From target a few years ago.
April 15th, 2008 at 11:22 amI was just going to say what Trudie did about saving the picture to show her boyfriends. My sons sometimes try to act like this. Laughing in their face is sometimes helpful.
April 15th, 2008 at 12:10 pm“Mood & ‘tude” exemplified.
April 15th, 2008 at 12:23 pmThis is the best photo I have ever seen on your site…..and you have a lot of great photos. This shot begs to be matted, framed, and hung on a wall.
Chris says: Well, thank you very much.
April 15th, 2008 at 1:11 pmwho shrunk Janice Dickinson?!
April 15th, 2008 at 2:25 pmoops! i meant shrank
April 15th, 2008 at 2:43 pmI can’t wait till a wayward boyfriend pisses her off. I’m not sure he should be more scared of, the six brothers or her. I’m voting on her.
April 15th, 2008 at 2:45 pmShe has the pout down to perfection.
April 15th, 2008 at 3:07 pmI’m pretty sure you could sell that shot to Avril for an album cover and make MILLIONS!!!
April 15th, 2008 at 3:36 pmNo worries about this one taking care of herself in a crowd of punks. Yeeeeeikes!
Great photo!!!
April 15th, 2008 at 3:41 pmOh my! Isn’t that a glimpse into life with a teenager? Love the photo.
Also…do remember the name of the company that did your photo book? I wanted to make one as a gift and I thought yours was quite stunning (although that probably had as much to do with your photography skills as the book itself..but anyway…)
Chris says: Blurb.
April 15th, 2008 at 4:15 pmI’m diggin the purple bed!!!!!
April 15th, 2008 at 4:22 pmOooh, she’s a fiesty one!
April 15th, 2008 at 5:32 pmI really love your photos. They always tell a story. Really. Really. GOOD
Chris says: Thank you.
April 15th, 2008 at 9:47 pmShe reminds me of Elizabeth the paper bag princess - but with jewels and a tutu instead of a paper bag. No doubt she too could save the prince.
April 15th, 2008 at 10:30 pmI LOVE this photo. I saw it and immediately told my husband to come look at it. His exact words, “WOW! She is gorgeous.” My thoughts exactly…
April 15th, 2008 at 10:57 pmApple. Tree. Etc. And a book cover, I swear, a book cover.
April 16th, 2008 at 12:25 am>>Chris says: I sort of like the scary photo treatment.
Lol, yes, maybe in this case it nicely compliments the mood.
April 16th, 2008 at 6:24 amThe Gilda Radner as Candy Slice look!
April 16th, 2008 at 3:52 pm*lurker delurking*
Love this photo. Where did you find such a wonderful bed? I’m in the process of redoing my 4 yr old daughter’s room and she needs an actual bed with headboard/footboard, not just a bed frame. I’d love to look into such an interesting one
April 16th, 2008 at 6:46 pmAbsolutely Fabulous. She will be a beautiful young lady.
April 16th, 2008 at 9:35 pmShe is darling.
I’m amazed, however, how many comments you get critiquing your parenting and/or photo taking skills.
