My poor husband almost had a coronary when I called him and could only croak out normal before bursting into sobbing tears.
“WHAT? What does normal mean?” he shouted over me. Because clearly normal could not be good if I were crying.
But it is. I am normal. Or at least my innards are normal.
And I feel thankful. And lucky. And blessed beyond measure.

Great news! Went through something similar late last year and the not knowing really sucks! So pleased that you are ‘normal’ and hope that news eases your mind. Now do what I did when I got the all clear - go and get a very large glass of wine and exhale!!

June 20th, 2008 at 2:05 pmWow, we seem to be having similar tests. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy on Mon and just today had to drink 3 huge glasses of the barium stuff for a small bowel series. I have to say that after the prep stuff for the colonoscopy the barium was a walk in the park. And I got warned about white poop too. All my tests are to figure out why I’m so anemic. Glad to read that you’re normal and its great that you didn’t have to worry about your results all weekend.
