I remember my mother letting me and my twin sister “do the dishes” when I was a little older than that. I also remember the inch of Babo, that’s what we used in those days, that was left in the sink when we let the water out. I suspect it gave Mother a chance to do something else while the twins were occupied at the sink. She at that point had five children the oldest would have been around nine. I think Miles will think back on this picture as one of the good times, too.
My best friend always says “No man was ever shot while washing the dishes.”
Also, do you remember your blanket with sleeves idea? Someone did it! Have you seen the commercial for the Snuggie? (I totally like your Slanket name better, BTW.) Check it out. Snuggie
I love the photos you are putting up in your “X of 365″ series … love your photography talent, and love the peek into your life. I hope (no disrepect intended) that it doesn’t mean we’ve got to go 365 days without your journling, however, because I love your hysterical take on life, too!
I make mine vacuum to earn their dinner! :o)
