Okay, looking at this picture and at number 14 I still think that you might have moved to Texas. However, most of the pictures I have seen would also apply to parts of California, so maybe you moved there?

“We, the people of Round Rock are proud of the progress that has been made here in the past 25 years. Come to Round Rock to live and help us make still faster progress in the next 25 years. - (signed) The City of Round Rock, Texas”

Is this where Miles’ new baseball team will be? Did you sign him onto the little league team of Round Rock?

  66. Nicki says:

Now, I am not American, but I had an inkling something was going on when you mentioned a while back that in a few weeks time baseball would start again. I thought to myself: baseball, in the snow? Shouldn’t that take another couple of months out there in New England?

  67. Gem says:

I live in Ireland. My house is surrounded by farmland so cows are really not a novelty. My sister lived in Baltimore MD for years. When my nieces were home on holidays we went to a local wildlife park to see the giraffes, monkeys, kangaroos etc. The kids were all excited going down in the car. When we got there my niece jumped out of the car and ran to the fence around the carpark jumping up and down with excitement. “look, look over there, it’s a cow” She was right, it was a cow in the neighbouring farm! Not what we had in mind as the main attraction in the safarii park though. I think that might have been when my sister decided it was time to move back to Ireland!

  68. Jade says:

I’m going to delurk to guess Texas? Or has someone already gotten the correct answer?

    Texas?

  81. leigh says:

    Must be Texas!

  83. tracey says:

    TEXAS!!!

  84. Peggy says:

I think you are in Texas. I am totally jealous of the warm weather you have - it is 20 degrees and 40 mile an hour wind gusts where I am. Hope you all love your new home.

  85. monstermash40 says:

Do they have fat black deer in Arizona? Maybe your in Houston.

  86. Elisha says:

I say Texas. Just because I’m in Texas and see cows, bison and horses on daily basis : ) Plus, picture Fourteen has a star - The Lone Star State.

    Are you in Tennessee?

  93. Beth says:

I think you are either in or around Phoenix AZ, Sacramento CA, Houston TX or Salt Lake City UT.

I find it very brave of you to move with all the kids especially anyone about 12. I find any of the kids over 12 hate change and leaving all their friends behind. Nintendo and laptops are life savers!!!!!

  94. Carolie says:

    Texas?

  95. Shannon says:

oh come on and tell!!! this is killing me!

    you are in Oklahoma?????

  96. annmarie says:

  98. Lori says:

Texas? Tell me you are in Texas now! (I am guessing the central part or hill country)

  99. Kelley says:

I say it looks just like North Austin. We have a Whole Foods…and an Ikea…metal water tower thingies…and fat black deer by the train tracks. If you posted a picture of Central Market, I would swear we were neighbors.

  100. sasparilla says:

    Texas, Houston Area

  101. Leslie says:

    Are you near Houston?

  102. Kate says:

My guess is somewhere in Texas. But, can you just tell us already?!

Looks like you have landed in small town America but near enough to a big city to have a Whole Foods Market.
Hmmmm.. San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston comes to mind to a Texan.

  104. Melissa says:

Being a girl originally from Texas, I’m going to stick w/ Texas and say Austin??? Maybe?

  105. Kim says:

    Austin, Texas

  106. kimmad says:

OK, I’m guessing somewhere on the gulf coast of Texas? (warm weather…meat…the gulf sign…the star on the water tower)

  107. Deborah says:

    Texas. Final Answer. :)

  108. Sherry says:

Cows next to the train tracks? That seems like potential disaster. :D

  109. lizinsumner says:

I still say it’s gotta be somewhere in Georgia…….

  110. lizinsumner says:

Alright, my co-worker says the Eat Meat thingie has GOT to be Texas - and I think you’re two hours ahead of me on the west coast - so, I’m changing my guess to HOUSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  111. Stephanie in AR says:

I like the fat black deer better than the ‘big goggies’ that my baby saw. Deer run away but goggies don’t.

May I guess that you are in Georgia? Ikea in person, warm weather, eat loving but could be Florida too.

  112. ~annie says:

Those fat black deer are native to Austin, TX.

    You are in Texas?

  115. Pauline says:

    You’re in Houston, TX.

  116. joy says:

I’m guessing midwest. Probably Mid Midwest, too, as the temp isn’t that cold in the evening but your kids are outside in short sleeves during the day. Plus the train, cows, and general flat land. Its too green to be high desert….

OHMYGOD, you moved to Kansas, Missiouri, Oklahoma or Southern Nebraska.

  117. Jodes says:

    North Carolina?

  118. Katherine says:

Somewhere near the Gulf Coast, maybe south Alabama or south Georgia?

  119. Katie in MA says:

Okay, where in Texas are you?

  120. Natalie says:

    Texas?

  121. johana says:

the suspense is killing me. what did we do to deserve this cruel and unusual punishment?
btw, cute comment by your daughter!

  122. Brandy in Canada says:

    Fat black deer!! LOL!
I’m sure someone already guessed but I’m going to say your in Texas somewhere based solely on the picture of the eat meat sign and I think it’s warm in Texas..well basically anywhere is warmer than here!

  123. Di says:

Hmm it’s still the country but somewhere warmer.. The suspense is killing me. ;)

  124. Dean's Mommy says:

Cows, relatively flat land, Ikea and Whole Foods, star on the water tower… I’m guessing you’ve moved to Texas. Houston maybe?

  125. Kim S. says:

    Are you in Texas?!

  126. Emily in IL says:

I think I have an idea what state you landed in… :D

Fat black deer - what a hoot!

    You’re in Texas.

    Definitely Texas

    have fun at baseball

  131. laura says:

    you are in texas?

  132. Kitchen Vixen says:

Are people still guessing? I think you’ve moved to Texas. Somewhere in the vicinity of Houston, Frisco or Round Rock, because that’s where the Texas IKEAs are.

  133. Jen says:

    Houston, Texas?

  134. Karate Mom says:

Texas? Did you move to Houston? I can’t wait to hear the whole story!!

  135. Lisa says:

    So based on

    1. The Sky
    2. gas company signs
    3. Ikea and Whole Goods in the same city

My guess is somewhere near Houston, TX?

  136. Yan says:

i vote for Texas. the star on the watertower and the limestone on the pillars of the lights that you posted in picture 15.

  137. AC in SC says:

Wow….Texas?! I cannot imagine the culture shock.

  138. Jeanne says:

Did you move to Texas? I heard they have fat black deer there!

  139. Deva says:

    Lubbock, TX?

  140. DW says:

    Ok.
    Another guess….
    Houston, TX?
    OMG this is impossible.

  141. Jen says:

Texas?? I live in Houston, and based on the type of low growing trees, the cows, the railroads, the cactus growing near where the cow is grazing, the warm weather, the water tower, the rotting fence boards, and the many, many baseball games played every night, I am guessing somewhere in Texas. Plus, we eat a lot of meat here in Texas. Actually, I am going to be more exact and say Austin, Texas.

  142. jenwith4kids says:

    Texas!?

  143. ~annie says:

    Hey, where’d my comment go?
The fat black dear are native to Austin, TX.

  144. Michelle says:

    Roundrock, TX?

  145. Julie says:

I think I might have answered this on another one of your posts. But I so know where you moved to! It is Round Rock, Texas! I am the winner!

  146. Renee' says:

I am originally from Texas so yes it might be Texas, but that is a small water tower so it looks like it might be a small older town and especially if the cow isn’t inside a fence! (well it looks like it isn’t inside a fence!) But I notice also though you were shopping at IKEA and there is a picture of your daughter caring a Whole Foods store bag and I am positive they don’t have them in a small town! Okay I guessing maybe Texas! But cows are alot of places! Still thinking I guess!

  147. kelly says:

I’ve been saying Texas for a few days now, but for some reason it’s not showing up.

I know for a fact that it’s NOT Kansas…cuz that’s where I live and it’s not that warm here yet.

  148. Jennifer says:

Wait a minute! I guessed Huston, Texas yesterday at 1:32pm!

  149. Ruth H says:

I do have to come back to say that photo with the old oil company and meat sign are a barbecue place in central Texas, NOT Houston. I think I’ve seen one like it. Small town between Austin and San Antonio is my guess.

  150. Ruth H says:

I do have to come back to say that photo with the old oil company and meat sign are a barbecue place in central Texas, NOT Houston. I think I’ve seen one like it. Small town between Austin and San Antonio is my guess. BTW all Texas places are near a railroad track with cows, all the water towers look a lot like that one, etc. etc. I hang out between San Antonio and Austin a lot in Hill country between Blanco and Wimberly.

  151. Kelly says:

Well, geez I guess I better change my guess to Texas….

  152. Patricia says:

I think it’s southern Colorado. Colorado Springs/Pueblo area perhaps. Whole Food is there. And, they were building a new IKEA last fall up in Denver.

  153. Jacki says:

I’m a Texas girl and that has to be the good ol’Lone Star State. Welcome!

  154. Kelli says:

I would say closer to Austin/San Antonio area in Texas.

  155. Julia Hackney says:

Sure looks like Texas……and if it’s anywhere near Cypress, TX…a northwest suburb of Houston, call me and I’ll come help you unpack. I’ll even bring the wine.

    Julia

  156. Holli says:

Deep In The Heart Of Texas!!

  157. my3sons says:

Texas. And holy CRAP are you in for it this summer.

  158. Katie in MA says:

As a transplanted New Englander in TX, may I say welcome and god-bless-ya. ;)
