Went through a corn maze for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago. Of course, we had winter jackets and gloves and hats on, and could hardly wait to come out the other side to the roaring fire, hot dogs on a stick, and adult-flavored hot chocolate. Can cross “corn-maze” off my life list too!
Our local corn maze was so huge it has “emergency exits” for the hopelessly lost, freaked-out people. Unfortunately, the exits just bring you to a dirt track between more cornfields, with no indication of how to reach civilization.
yes, the children of the corn thing still gets me everytime.
on a totally different note, did you (once upon a time) post something about your homemeade taco seasoning mix ? cant find it, and all the ones i am finding on line still have junk in them … help!!!please
Never been through a maze of corn, but have been lost in a corn field. A bit terrifying really…I thought I had such a bright idea of cutting through one in my teens. ::shiver:: This looks to have been a whole lot more fun, but then most things are - in Texas! ;-D
WOW! I don’t blame you for not wanting to go in there! Our corn is all dry and short and gone already. We could prolly see over each row to see our way out. Although I don’t think I want to try it for myself or anything. Good work, Chris!
Wow, is the corn in Texas still green????? Ours has already died and been harvested.

Okay, that is the ONE good thing about living in TX: the colorful/green backgrounds at the Pumpkin Patches really make the photos pop.

October 20th, 2009 at 8:05 amThat whole getting lost thing seems like something I could do rather easily. Now I just have to find a field of corn.
Sounds like fun!
