Might As Well Jump
October 31, 2009
This was not on my life list, but it really should have been. Bounce in a bounce house until you pee your pants.
Also awesome is the fact that my oldest son grabbed my camera and took photos all on his own.

what’s really awesome is that you can wear a white belt and still look thin…seriously, I hate you…(in a good way)…
October 31st, 2009 at 10:40 pmI LOVE this pic! It’s great to throw caution to the wind and JUMP!
And, um, I hope your kidding about the ‘pee your pants’ part. That would have been a serious party foul for the next jumpers.
October 31st, 2009 at 10:50 pmTrampolines, beds, siblings - bouncing on stuff is just plain fun.
November 1st, 2009 at 9:56 amOMG…you are a brave woman. I am afraid to try that. I might not come out of it alive…or with dry pants.
November 1st, 2009 at 10:36 ami think i have figured out how you stay so young. great photo
November 1st, 2009 at 11:07 amI love that you were bouncing with your kids, and I love that one of your kids knew you’d want photos and took them for you.
Awesome.
November 1st, 2009 at 12:35 pmWe are wearing the same shirt! Although presumably you’ve changed by now.
Chris says: I think you may overestimate me
November 1st, 2009 at 12:55 pmI’d pee on my first bounce, pretty sure I won’t be doing that any time soon! You know you look about 12, right? What I wouldn’t give ..
November 1st, 2009 at 6:57 pmIf you can get more than a couple jumps in before you start peeing in your pants, your pelvic floor is in better shape than mine and I am only on kid #5. I can’t jump!! Looks fun though!
November 2nd, 2009 at 7:27 amLooks fun! They really should build them for adults as an exercise item. Though they might have to be a little sturdier to handle me and my husband. He once rolled and got stuck in the side and I couldn’t even try to help him, as I was too busy laughing my @ss off!
November 2nd, 2009 at 7:32 amAwesome! I tried a bouncy a year ago at a Communion party. Now I want one at my 50th birthday party!
You bounce, girl!
November 2nd, 2009 at 10:15 amI’m impressed that “until you pee your pants” apparently isn’t the first bounce. Nice job with those kegel exercises.
November 2nd, 2009 at 1:45 pmbouncy castles are so fun! good workout, too
November 2nd, 2009 at 1:55 pmThere’s a kid in all of us! I think it’s great that your son captured the moment.
November 2nd, 2009 at 4:08 pmYou are teaching them well.
Imagine how many pics they’re going to snap of their own little ones (many, many moons from now) and how often they’ll think of you when they do!
November 2nd, 2009 at 5:57 pmHi Chris, Love your blog. I remember a long time ago you posted a really good-sounding dip that involved lime flavored chips. Where might I find the recipe for this? Thanks!
November 2nd, 2009 at 8:41 pmAren’t those the best moments? The ones you didn’t expect should have been on the list until after you have already done it. For me, it was the Spa weekend with my closest girl friends from high school. The three of us went to a local cosmetology school for massages, pedis and manis, followed by a margarita lunch, and THEN a slumber party at the local casino. The idea was to stay local and use coupons, freebies, and go cheap. Spent about $100 - including drinks! The best $100 I’ve spent in a long, long time.
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:49 pmWhat fun! We all need to jump in a bouncy house more often.
And your son is a great photographer! It’s HARD to catch someone clearly in mid-jump!
November 3rd, 2009 at 5:11 pmo stink, now I have this song stuck in my head……!
