My to do list today was a mile long.
I didn’t get through half of the things on the list.
The sheets haven’t been changed.
The bathrooms still need cleaning.
I didn’t step foot in the grocery store in over 24 hours. I’m sure they are wondering where I am.
It is going to be another year without Christmas cards. I am saying that definitively now. Taking the word “maybe” out of the statement.
But I did have gingerbread men for the kids to decorate when they got home from school. Some people would say that was the most important thing on the list.
These are some of those people.
And we all know that the gingerbread men are just a vehicle for shoving as much candy as you can into your mouth.
So I am going to consider the day a success.
I think the kids agree.
